Hey Cat,

I hope you don't mind but I just added your web page to my facebook wall via "post to your wall/share" or whatever that's called.....I know I have some friends that would enjoy your blogging, photos, and whatnot.

Thanks,

Ah, that is awesome to know-cause you are AMAZING at those little crochet critters! I still want one-it could be my mascot or something I too have found if I have a strong desire to do something that just propels me through the pocket of sucking at in the beginning. It does however help to take a bit of a break from trying to master something though-otherwise I end up breaking stuff.
Thanks for the comment!

You might not believe it, since I’m writing my own crochet patterns now, but when I started I really sucked at them. I made a bunch of animals that didn’t even look like animals. But I really wanted to learn it and kept trying freeform until finally my things started looking like what they were supposed to. Then I started figuring out how to do more complex things, simply because I was becoming so familiar with my hook and yarn. Now I feel quite successful when I make animals, and based on the comments I’ve received on them, other people like them too. But it was rough at first. Really rough!!

Found this via your photostream on flickr, and god only knows how I ended up at your photostream? I just start following interesting photos, and let them lead me places. Anyway, just wanted to say I thought this was really smart, and added the link to my favorites on my tool bar, and when I have a bad day will refer to it as a reminder. Thanks for sharing.
